Before national prohibition, Grand Junction had already gone dry.

In 1909, the Anti-Saloon League pushed for a vote that banned alcohol in the city. Saloon owners including Irish immigrant Jimmy Purcell, who ran multiple bars downtown, were given just 10 days to sell their liquor before prohibition took effect.

Small format tile is luxury! This is a hill I’m willing to die on!!

It requires more craftsmanship, allows for intricate patterns, and creates the kind of texture that makes a space feel custom instead of builder-grade.

Large format tile may be trendy, but small tile has been used in luxury homes and historic architecture for generations.

What do you think—small tile or large tile?

If you:
• Finance a car
• Open a new credit card
• Increase your balances
• Co-sign for someone

Your lender will re-check everything before closing.
And if your DTI goes up too much? Your home loan can be denied.

Buried above the city… By design

George Crawford helped found Grand Junction and Delta, and he chose his final resting place carefully. He’s buried above Orchard Mesa, where he first looked over a dusty Grand Valley and imagined what this place could become.
