May 2024 Real Estate stats for Grand Rapids, MI!

Inventory and sales are up from last year. Great news for buyers and more inventory makes the competition for each property ease up.

Third slide shows the breakdown of the hot price points. Shouldn't be shocked that the 250-400k range accounts for almost 50% of the sales.

put out the Q1 market report.
The main take away for me is that Grand Rapids continues to grow and appreciate. Great for people already home owners but does make more challenging for new homeowners.

Exciting week last week as I had two clients close on their new homes! Relatively simple transactions and we even got the Jenison property slightly under list price.

Extra shout-out to the Jenison clients as they are returning clients... I have been fortunate to have two returning clients this year and very thankful for people trusting me with their transactions!

There seems to be more inventory coming on the market compared to last year (stats coming in a different post)

Last week, was excited to close on this listing in Rockford. Congrats to my sellers!

This one was a little bumpy, but we were able to navigate through successfully.

We had a buyer dropout of the contract and ended up having to chase down the earnest money for my buyers. Luckily, we were able to do so without legal action.

Thankfully, the next buyers had no issues and we were closing in less than a month.

Upcoming month will be an exciting one as we are closing on a completed flip tomorrow and two more buyers should be closing on their properties soon!
