Lisa Noseff of Benevolent Hearts Home Care did a great job giving us an update on Alzheimers and Dementia.

My top three take-aways were:
1. take care of your physical health early on in your life and never stop.

2. Be social. Isolation is not good for anyone's mental health.

3. Numbers are rising. Donate for continued research.

Whenever you are doing a remodel, you need to prepare yourself mentally so that you don't have false expectations.

#1 There will always be unexpected challenges. You can't see behind the walls or under the wallpaper.

#2 Contractors rarely show up at the appointed time. If they do, you are paying a big premium for someone with good time management skills.

#3 The renovation will nearly always take longer than they tell you.
