🪳 German roaches are hitchhikers.
If you see them at a friend’s house, family member’s house, boyfriend or girlfriend’s house, workplace, apartment, hotel, or anywhere else, be careful what you carry back home.
German roaches can hide inside:
Bags • purses • backpacks • boxes • electronics • appliances • clothing • groceries • furniture
You may leave without seeing a single roach on you — but one can be tucked inside something you’re carrying.
Then you get home, set the bag down, bring the box inside, plug in the appliance… and now they have a new place to hide, eat, and reproduce.
That’s one reason German roach infestations can spread from home to home, apartment to apartment, and even between family and friends.
🚨 If somebody has German roaches, don’t assume you can’t bring them home with you.
And once they establish themselves indoors, they can be extremely difficult to eliminate.
Don’t wait until you’re seeing them everywhere.
