When you’re getting your driveway plowed or shoveled, don’t forget your mailbox! Make sure the approach, the area in front of it, and the exit are clear of snow.

If carriers can’t safely reach your mailbox, they won’t be able to deliver your mail. A few extra minutes of clearing can save you missed deliveries!

❄️ Keep Your HVAC Running Smoothly This Winter! ❄️
Heavy snow can block your HVAC unit, causing poor airflow and even system damage. To keep your home warm and your system efficient:
✅ Clear snow from around and on top of your HVAC unit.
❌ Do NOT hit or strike the unit with tools—this can damage the fins, coils, or fan.

Why it matters:
Snow buildup restricts airflow, making your system work harder.
Excess strain can lead to breakdowns and costly repairs.
Proper clearance ensures safe and efficient heating.

Use a soft brush or gently shovel around the unit, leaving at least 2–3 feet of space. Your HVAC will thank you!

FYI: If you are over age 65 and own a home in Indiana, tomorrow (January 15th 2026) is the deadline to file for the property tax credit. You will need to contact your local county auditor and fill out Indiana form 43708 for the credit.

There are eligibility rules for the credit, specifically, a combined income of $70,000/year for a married couple, $60,000 for single filers.

Every penny counts, please share this to all of your Indiana friends who might be eligible.
