We are not your typical building company because we don’t want to be. We’re different by design. It’s a conscious choice to be this way. The reason we’re different is because our moral compass is intact. We actively utilize our mind, heart and our team is paramount, period. We truly care and appreciate the people that help us day in and day out. The unsung hero’s. We will be their champion and ensure that they are appreciated, acknowledged and supported. We emphasis quality craftsmanship and push to meet deadlines but we also promote work/life balance and won’t burn our team or let others attempt to burn them both physically and mentally.
We understand that this approach will either turn people off/against us or it will trigger a sense of appreciation and respect- there’s no middle ground. Regardless of that outcome, it will tighten the bond with the people that help us deliver on our goals and in exchange earn their respect, trust and love. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love and they deserve to be appreciated.
The home featured in this video is a perfect reflection of this message. This home was in bad shape. Really bad shape. But our team brought it back to life and now it can be appreciated and celebrated for 100 more years.

Wallace Frost was one of the most celebrated architects of his time. He started his career working alongside Albert Kahn before starting his own firm. He mostly designed homes in the Detroit suburbs. He was best known for midsize cottage homes that emphasize natural light and that feature woodwork, unique architectural details and limestone frames around windows and doors. You can find many of his homes in Birmingham, Michigan where he lived. However, he did design a beautiful home here in Grosse Pointe that we now have the privilege to add value too for a wonderful family. That home is featured in this video.

Home gyms are becoming more and more popular post pandemic. This is one of many that we’ve recently built. We converted an old attic storage space into an impressive home fitness environment. Our clients wanted to create a unique space using birch plywood with a clear coat to finish.
