Talks of school starting back next week ✅
Power restored for most of my friends ✅

Little by little, things are starting to feel normal again. ❤️

But there are still so many people calling looking for temporary housing, people who have lost so much, and others who are just trying to figure out what comes next.

Today is absolutely beautiful. The sun is shining, the water is sparkling, and for a moment, everything looks normal.

They say the sun will come out tomorrow, and it certainly has. ☀️

But man, even on a day this beautiful, everything still feels so heavy.

Praying for everyone still trying to pick up the pieces. ❤️

You wouldn’t think you’d have to fight for guests to get their money back during a hurricane, but here we are. 💔

And before anyone says, “That’s what travel insurance is for” — I get it. But times are hard, vacations are expensive, and nobody booked their trip expecting a hurricane to come through our area.

These families saved their hard-earned money to come make memories, only to have their vacations cut short because of something completely out of their control.

As a small, locally owned vacation rental company, we may not be able to control the weather or the policies of these big booking platforms, but we CAN control how we treat people.

We spent the days leading up to the storm making sure our guests were informed, safe, and able to get out of harm’s way. And yes, that meant fighting to get some of their money back.

Reviews like this mean more to me than people realize. ❤️

Our guests will never be just another reservation number. We will always advocate for them, even when it means going the extra mile.

Because doing what’s right matters more than making a dollar. 🌊❤️

Seeing the damage firsthand is heartbreaking, but at the same time, I’m incredibly thankful that things weren’t worse. Buildings can be repaired, trees can be cleaned up, and we will get through this one step at a time. ❤️

Unfortunately, our Pensacola and Gulf Breeze properties will be unavailable for the next few weeks or longer while we work on repairs and cleanup. Thankfully, our Perdido Key properties made it through with very little damage!

My heart goes out to everyone in our community who has been affected by this storm. We have a long road of cleanup ahead, but I’m so grateful for what we still have.
