A national and statewide market update as of mid April.

In California, a lot of markets sales have slowed. Silicon Valley and San Francisco are doing very well. What I’ve noticed on the Coastside is homes that are priced well for our current market sell almost immediately. Other’s sit.

At a national level, there is good growth for new home sales but existing home sales struggle. Mostly due to interest rates and low inventory. The inventory on the Coast has more than doubled in the past 3 months.

Where are the mortgage interests rates at? Unfortunately, they’ve crept up a little bit from the 6.9% they were at in the beginning of January. Rates are perfected to have a slow gradual decline this year. Hopefully we’ll start to see that soon.
