I’m officially calling in a few favors… and one of them involves a boat. 🛥️🏠

I have three very specific “missions” right now, and I have a feeling the right people are sitting right here in my feed.

1. The Creative Mission: 🎨
I am officially looking for a local North Carolina artist to help me bring my children’s book to life! If you (or someone you know) can capture that NC magic through illustration, I want to see that portfolio.

2. The “Sea Legs” Mission: 🌊
Calling all my Hampstead friends with a boat! I’m hunting for a captain willing to take me out for a quick real estate video shoot. I promise good vibes, great views, and a very grateful Realtor.

3. The Land Mission: 🚜
I have a buyer ready to pull the trigger on 1–5 acres in Southeast NC. If you’ve been thinking about selling or know a “pocket listing” that hasn’t hit the market yet, let’s talk.

Also... wait until you see the concept for this children’s book. It’s been a passion project for a long time, and I’m finally ready to let you guys in on the secret of what it’s actually about. 🤫

Tag an artist, a boat owner, or a land-owner below! Let’s make some magic happen. ⬇️

Maturing is realizing that line dried laundry 🧺 is superior to dryer laundry.

I’m so blessed that I have mature trees weeds on my property for my clothes line 🌳

Speaking of… if you have a couple of acres with mature trees that you’re willing to part with in the Southeast NC let me know!!

I could have fair market value $$$ in your pocket in ~ 60 days.

Before you get too comfortable, there are a few things you should probably know about me. 20 things, to be exact. (Number 19 is for the haters). Let’s get into it.

1. Charlotte NC was the largest city I’d ever been to

2. I’d only vacationed in Myrtle beach

3. I spent my whole life just about in Robeson County

4. I thought you were rich if your neighborhood had a sign and a name

5. I thought living in the suburbs was the coolest thing ever

6. I hate traveling and flying

7. I’m scary good at real estate especially listing homes and getting them sold fast (but I also do a lot of the heavy work)

8. My accent is a regional dialect (Robeson County) that’s well documented (NC is the most linguistically diverse state, if you attribute accents to things like race…. Im going to assume you’re an uneducated individual and proceed accordingly).

9. I’d live semi off grid if I could

10. I have all I ever need (except 400 acres)

11. I can’t parallel park but I can drive stick

12. I started in Ag with Alpacas

13. I love collecting rocks and doing taxidermy

14. I know a lot about NC flora and fauna

15. I’m a science nerd despite people thinking my accent makes me unintelligent.

16. Agriculture is my culture regardless of what folk who have lost touch with their roots say (yall forgot the grannies that grow collards in the yard)

17. I’m a pageant queen and have been Mrs United States agriculture! And Miss Americas United States.

18. I make farming look cute but I was a commercial grower of broilers with 1.2 mil birds passing through my hands a year.

19. I want to have 6 kids one day and YES I’m married (& no I don’t care what you think about it or in*******al relationships)

20. I’m actually really shy but if you see me out I will always say hey. 👋🏽

I’m a lil fish in a very big pond. I’m simple and I like it that way

Am I dressed entirely too well to be handling hundreds of live worms? Absolutely.

Thinking your property taxes automatically cover road maintenance? Think again. 🛑

As the Realtor in the family, I’m the go to for all the questions.

Recently, my dad called me completely frustrated about some massive potholes in front of his rental properties. He had called the county to get them fixed, fully expecting them to send a crew out.

His logic? He pays property taxes, so the county handles the roads. Makes sense, right?

Their response: Not our problem. That road is private. 🤯

This happens more often than you’d think in North Carolina.

People buy property assuming their tax dollars guarantee paved, maintained roads, only to find out they are left holding the bill for the asphalt.

So, what actually determines if a road is public or private?

➡️ It usually comes down to whether the state or municipality officially accepted the road for maintenance when it was built, or if it was left to a developer, HOA, or the adjacent owners.

I want to hear from you: Should any road be privately maintained when we all pay property taxes? Drop your thoughts in the comments! ⬇️
