Congratulations to my client on closing on 2862 Osceola Springs Road.

This one was unlike anything I’ve worked on before — for a few reasons.

First, this property went within the week it was listed. I’ve helped clients compete before, but not like this. We had to be ready, move fast, and stay sharp all the way through.

Second — the property itself. Originally built in the 1830s. A historic log cabin that wasn’t just updated, it was structurally rebuilt from the ground up. Failed foundation pulled out and replaced with poured concrete. Original rotted logs replaced with hand-cut slabs salvaged from the structure itself. The walkway out front? Made from the stones that came out of the original foundation. Even the stairs, the trim, and the floors are built from lumber salvaged during demolition.

Nothing was wasted. Everything that could be saved, was.

That kind of care doesn’t happen by accident — and finding a property like that isn’t either.

I’m honored my client trusted me with it.

My favorite type of transaction — helping a first-time homebuyer.

Representing the buyer of 216 Walnut Drive was special for more than one reason.

First, there’s nothing quite like helping a young person realize that homeownership is more attainable than they thought — walking them through each step, watching it all start to click, and seeing that excitement build as things come together.

But this one had an extra layer. This property happens to sit just a few houses down from the client’s grandmother. They’re now neighbors. A full-circle moment that made this so much more than a transaction.

Congratulations to my client on closing on their new townhouse in Congers Creek.

I really enjoyed this one — not because it was new construction, and not because it’s in my own neighborhood… but because it was with a first-time homebuyer.

Working with first-timers is one of my favorite parts of real estate. According to a recent publication by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), as of this year, the median age of first-time homebuyers has reached an all-time high of 40 years old, with just 21% of all home purchases this year being made by first-time buyers.
