Getting ready to record another episode of The Hartwell Hustle!

This episode was especially meaningful because we focused on a program that is making a difference for some of the youngest members of our Hart County community, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. 📚❤️

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Laura Bramblett and Diane Tolbert to talk about how the Imagination Library is helping put books into the hands of local children and encouraging a love of reading from an early age.

One of my favorite things about hosting The Hartwell Hustle is having the opportunity to shine a light on the people, organizations, and programs that make Hartwell and Hart County, Georgia such a special place to call home.

Because real estate is about so much more than houses. It’s about the community, the people, and the place we’re proud to call home. 💙

Lake Hartwell is low. Our community is not.

There’s no denying that current Lake Hartwell water levels are affecting people differently. Some docks are still floating with plenty of water, while others are sitting on dry ground. For homeowners, boaters, local businesses, visitors, buyers, and sellers, the impact can be very different.

And it’s okay to be frustrated. We all love this lake and want to see the water come back up.

But Lake Hartwell has never been just about the water.

It’s the people. The small businesses. The friendships. The sunsets. The neighbors who look out for each other. It’s the lifestyle and community we’ve built around a lake we all love.

Water levels will rise and fall. The heart of Lake Hartwell remains. ❤️

Today, I took a little break from real estate and spent time with some dear friends I haven’t seen in far too long. ❤️

I love what I do, and my work is a big part of my life. But days like today are a good reminder that no matter how full the calendar gets, we have to make time for the people who matter.

Careers keep us busy. Friendships keep us grounded. And sometimes the best thing you can do is put the phone down, step away from the to-do list, laugh with old friends, catch up on life, and remember what really matters.

Real estate will be there tomorrow. Today was for friendship. And I’m so glad it was. ❤️
