What an incredible journey it has been with Lee and JW, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share their story of becoming proud homeowners! From the moment we set our sights on that property being sold "as-is, where-is," I knew we were in for an adventure.
As we delved into the details, it quickly became apparent that this wasn't going to be a straightforward process. The property didn't even have a heat source, and I watched as Lee and JW's determination kicked in. Thanks to the seller's cooperation, we managed to install a hardwired heat source that met the appraiser's requirements. It was a testament to their resilience and the seller's willingness to make things work.
Just when we thought we were in the clear, a new hurdle emerged: the lender's demand for a roof replacement. Despite the property's "as-is" label, the roof needed attention. I saw the uncertainty on their faces, but I also saw an opportunity. The seller's agreement to replace the roof and our decision to extend the closing date showcased the remarkable spirit of collaboration that was driving this journey forward.
And now, a week after our original closing date, Lee and JW are officially homeowners. The joy and sense of accomplishment they radiate is truly inspiring.
