🏡 Kids Building Up Kids is back! 🔨 Since 2018, we have proudly teamed up with Immaculate Conception School to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through this special service-learning project!

Recently, we kicked things off with an inspiring assembly where students got to see photos of last year’s St. Jude , the one their signed wall studs helped build, along with the renderings for this year’s home!

Over the years, this initiative has raised more than $10,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Louisiana, and we can’t wait to keep building on that success! Thank you to our ICS family and community for supporting this impactful mission 💖💪

🏠Kids Building Up Kids!🔨

Today, we officially kicked off our school-wide Service Learning Project: Kids Building Up Kids, in collaboration with Hyman L Bartolo Jr. Contractors Inc. and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

Throughout this special project, our students will get a firsthand look at the process of building the 2027 St. Jude Dream Home from the ground up! Along the way, they’ll also learn about the incredible mission of St. Jude, the groundbreaking research happening there, and how St. Jude continues to bring hope to children and families facing childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

The project will culminate in our annual Stud Signing Event, where our Chargers will have the special opportunity to sign the studs that will be used to frame the 2027 St. Jude Dream Home. This meaningful tradition allows our students to leave their mark on a home that will help support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.

We are so excited for our Chargers to see how a community can come together to make a BIG difference. 💛

Congratulations to all six of our Louisiana St. Jude Dream Home builders. This morning all six builders received recognition for the 10% Challenger Award. This means these builders cut expenses and were able to raise more money for the kids at St. Jude! We are all incredibly grateful for each of you!
