You may have noticed a different name on the sign that used to be Thai Drift, but don't worry, the menu hasn't changed and the quality and service have only improved!

In this edition of Highland City Highlights, I sit down with Cody, the new owner of Pique Thai, and talk about some of the menu items, his family and staff, and what goes into making some of the most authentic tasting, best Thai food in Utah.

Learned a lot at the Mountain Ridge Park Design open house last night. I'm really liking the new rendering and amenities. Sounds like construction will likely begin sometime in the Spring after all the details are fleshed out and jobs awarded. @ Highland, Utah

I had such a great time last week interviewing Melissa Johnson Allmon - the new Principal at Freedom Elementary School. Her love for education, her students, faculty and staff is extremely obvious. Looking forward to a great school year at an exemplary school!

Macey's is opening a store in Highland, Utah, replacing Ridley's Family Market at 5353 W 11000 N. Remodeling will begin soon.

Lone Peak Public Safety Board Meeting this morning. The board consists of The Mayors and some Council members from Highland, Alpine and Cedar Hills. They meet monthly to discuss issues relating to Fire, Police, etc.
