She resides in Aiea, but has also been active in the Kailua community as a member of Kailua Baptist Church and a former teacher at Kailua Baptist Preschool. Now she is so excited to be turning that community focus toward real estate. Joy’s interest in real estate was inspired by her father’s 30 years as a real estate professional. You can do a lot with 101 years.

I am so blessed to have had a front row seat to grandma’s stories of a fully content life filled with hard work, cooking, walking, bus rides, family, and so many first hand accounts of historical moments. She recalled stories of when Pearl Harbor was bombed, when Hawaii became a state, when the H3 was being built, and her favorite - when the washing machine was invented!

She couldn’t believe she lived long enough to see her first great grandchild being born. Then she lived long enough to have 10 great grandchildren. Moving to Oahu and living with grandma was my dream when I was little. I’m so grateful life moved us here and that my babies all got to see their great grandma everyday. They got to sit and ask her about the toys she grew up and the candy she ate as kid.

We miss her dearly. She blessed us in every way. And we are grateful for every imprint she’s left on our hearts. ❤️

Calvary Café & Bookstore in ʻAiea has been our go-to spot this year for the days we just need to get out of the house, but still have our homeschool to get done ☕️📚 Tyson is happy to play on the table with some toys and a snack or stare at the little waterfall feature outside, while Mason and I get some work done. Naiyah usually chooses one of their many boba choices, and sometimes we grab lunch there too. Their menu is super affordable!

A great spot for coffee, reads, and yummies. Come support a local favorite 🤍

Team sports bring people together in the sweetest ways! ⚽️ Thrilled to walk alongside our friends, Jason & Sara, through this season of transitions. Their townhome, filled with memories, was a cherished part of their journey.
