This is the part of real estate that makes it all worth it. A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of helping my clients (now my friends), Precious and Bobby, close on their first home.

They were both so amazing through the entire process. Buying your first home comes with plenty of hoops to jump through, and let me tell ya, Precious handled every bit of it with so much grace, patience, and determination. No complaining, no giving up, just steady faith and a clear goal in mind. And she did it!

Today I happened to be driving by and saw her sitting on the porch, and I just had to stop. I got to hug her sweet baby I’d heard in the background of so many phone calls, meet her wonderful family, and their new puppy too. It was such a special moment for me.

Helping amazing people like them is what makes this job so meaningful. Congratulations, my sweet friends. I am so happy for you and oh so proud of you. 🏡💕

Our little egg hunt on Sunday was way more fun than I expected. We had such a blast! 💛

Usually on Easter we hide eggs at home for the kids, but this year we decided to hide eggs around Holden Beach and in our neighborhood, Riverside. My daughter Bristol helped me hide the eggs, post the clues, and do the whole thing. She said it was even more fun than hunting eggs at home, and honestly, I think I agree.

These hunters were QUICK too lol. After we hid one of the eggs at the beach, we saw a girl running down the shore toward us. We were joking that maybe she was running for our egg and we were rooting her on! A little later her mom texted me and sure enough, it was her! We got the biggest kick out of it.

Look at these smiles. You just cant beat that! Thank you to everybody who followed along, went looking, sent photos of their eggs, and joined in the fun. We had the best time, and Bristol is already asking if we can do it again next year... and maybe even a little 4th of July scavenger hunt too. ❤️
