Planning a family fishing trip to Table Rock Lake? There is nothing like seeing your kid’s face light up when they land their first catch! Table Rock is famous for bass, but if you’re fishing with the whole crew, here are a few simple tips to keep things fun and easy:

Stick to the basics: For kids, live bait like night crawlers or minnows on light tackle works wonders for catching bluegill and crappie. It keeps the action moving!

Beat the heat: Fish are most active in the early morning or late evening. Plus, you’ll avoid that midday summer sun.

Look for cover: Try fishing near boat docks or submerged brush. That’s where the fish love to hide out.

Pack the snacks: Never underestimate the power of a juice box and some crackers to keep the little anglers happy while waiting for a bite.

Big news! An exciting new adventure that’s been over a year in the making is finally here. Finally, inspection is this week! We are so excited to get these two brand new cabins ready for you at Tall Timbers Camp.

Whether you’re planning a cozy getaway or a family trip, we’ve got you covered with our new 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom cabins. Both will come with their own private hot tubs for the ultimate relaxation.

At Tall Timbers, we’re all about slowing down and spending quality time together. You can explore our hiking trails, cast a line in the stocked fishing ponds, take a dip in the pools, or grab a bite at the food trucks.
