9/11/2001. A day that changed us forever. A day when sadness and uncertainty filled the air, yet it also forged decisions that would shape a generation.

I will never forget those who lost their lives, and I will never forget those who chose to stand up, to serve, and to sacrifice for others. Their courage became our compass.

What carried me then—and still carries me today—is the pride of New Yorkers and the unwavering spirit of the USA. We stood together. We suffered together. We prayed together. And when the time came—we fought together.

America is not perfect, but I have traveled, I have seen, and I know—there is nothing greater. Our strength has always been our unity, and when we stand shoulder to shoulder, there is nothing we cannot overcome.

📚💪 Commitment. Drive. Willingness to learn.

Our Director of Community Engagement signed us up for the Miracle League in Cary this fall. The moment I saw the sign-up sheet, I knew I had to dig deeper and prepare myself the right way.

In that process, I came across Soldiers to Sidelines again—and in perfect timing, I was able to join their Adaptive Athlete Coaching Seminar.

What I’ve learned so far opened my eyes to a world I knew existed, but didn’t fully understand how to engage with. This training is teaching me how to build trust, show care, and create an atmosphere for real improvement.

I’ve always prided myself on giving 100% to my craft—because my athletes deserve it and expect it. 🙌 I cannot wait for our upcoming event, to meet these resilient athletes, and to keep growing as a coach and leader.

👉 To anyone out there chasing their passion: don’t stop at just doing it—master it. Every bit of new knowledge you gain has the power to change someone else’s life for the better.
