Hosted by the Hernando de Soto Historical Society, this is a day you won’t want to miss 👇

With Manatee & Sarasota County schools out next week—and visitors arriving from all over—our beautiful beaches are about to get BUSY!

Here are a few quick reminders to keep your trip stress-free:
🚗 Expect heavy traffic—plan extra time when heading to and from the island
🅿️ Park smart—make sure all four tires are off the road and avoid parking on state roads like Gulf Drive
🚫 Always check for “No Parking” signs and avoid blocking emergency access
🌙 Beach parking lots (Coquina & Cortez) are closed from 10 PM – 6 AM
🍹 No alcohol is allowed on the beach
