That “assigned” condo parking stall may not be as permanent as you think.

In Hawaii, especially in Honolulu, Waikiki, Ala Moana, and Kakaʻako, parking can be a major part of a condo’s value and daily convenience. But not all parking is created equal. Some stalls are deeded. Some are limited common elements. Some are simply assigned by the building or association.

Before buying or selling a condo, make sure the parking language is verified in the actual documents — not just in casual conversation.
