I've heard my fair share of misconceptions about real estate over the years. Here are a few I hear on repeat and my thoughts to go with!

It makes me so disappointed knowing that some people think this way about realtors. I am the kind of person that loves to learn from others. One of my favorite parts of being a realtor is getting to know people and their personalities, seeing how their lives are different than mine and learning about different skills from them that I can incorporate into my own life.

I am also known to be somewhat of a dreamer and know everyone has a vision for their lives. I appreciate every story and sentimental detail about the memories sellers have made in their home and always try to incorporate those small details when helping a buyer find a home for a specific vision they have of their life.

Misconception #1: Agents only care about making a sale.

Misconception #2: Agents just show houses.

Misconception #3: Agents are expensive.

Misconception #4: Agents only work with wealthy clients.
