Apex Home Inspection abides by a strict code of conduct, and serves people who are in a financially vulnerable position when making the biggest purchase decision of their lives. We abide by state Standards of Practice, ethics, the International Association of Home Inspectors’s standards, and the Golden Rule.
Facts: Home inspectors don’t “kill” deals. A home inspector should not inspect a house with the intent to please real estate agents for continued referrals, or purposefully minimize and underreport any observed deficiencies. Apex doesn’t, and never will. Ethical agents don’t expect that to begin with.
No inspector will observe everything wrong, but they should attempt to.
Your inspector should strive to give you the best story your potential house has to tell. Why would you want anything less when buying something you’ll make payments on for 30 years?
We encourage everyone to carefully select your inspector, and ensure that your agent has your best interests, not a commission, at the top of their priority list.
