LFG 2026! 😄

I got this dry erase board a few years ago when I was a newbie agent. It was headed for the trash after a listing, and I asked for it instead.
I told my Team Leader, at the time, “I’m going to fill this board with clients. Just watch.”

Maybe she thought I was joking.
Maybe I was trying to convince myself.

Life had other plans.

Shortly after, I left that brokerage. Branched out on my own.
And the year I expected to slow down—2025—turned out to be my most successful year in real estate, so far.

2025 taught me more than any training ever could:
How capable I am, how resilient I can be, and how much I trust my own instincts now.

Now it’s 2026.
I don’t know exactly what it will bring.

But I do know this:-- I’m filling this board again.

Just leased a beautifully remodeled condo in Houston (near Alief) to my mom’s Physical Therapist and his wife. After hearing way too many horror stories about their old apartment, it felt so good to help them level up into a place they actually enjoy coming home to.

They deserved better—and now they’ve got it. 😄

This was a fun mix—a mystery investor seller I’ve never actually met (still convinced she’s a hologram) and a first-time buyer who’s spent his whole life renting and finally gets to call a place *his.*

I’m genuinely going to miss the stray cats who kept me company at every showing… but don’t worry, I left the new owner a starter kit of cat food so my furry coworkers are still taken care of. 😺💛

On to the next milestone and more happy stories in real estate!
