The appraisal came in $54,000 low.

Under the contract, my clients were responsible for paying that entire gap—and the builder was not obligated to cover any of it.

The builder initially said my clients would have to bring the full $54,000 to closing. I continued escalating the issue and negotiating on their behalf. The builder first offered $24,000, but I didn’t stop there.

The final result? The builder agreed to cover the entire $54,000 appraisal gap.

That is $54,000 my clients did not have to bring to the closing table.

This is why having the right real estate agent matters. Representation is not just about finding a home—it is about having someone who will advocate for you, negotiate for you, and fight for the best possible outcome.
