It’s a bit late, but for DIY Monday I thought I could share these Crisco candles for whenever you need an emergency light. They’re so simple; just move the Crisco into a glass container with a wick and BOOM! Emergency candle! 🕯

It's going to be getting colder over the next few days, so here's a few tips to keep things running smoothly around the house:

- Keep your plants closer to your windows, and cut back on watering
- Drain your sprinkler systems and wrap your pipes with insulation
- For your pool, clean out the filters and keep it running to reduce risk of freezing
