On this Good Friday, we reflect on the great love described in 1 John 4:10: "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." Today, we remember the immense sacrifice of Jesus, nailed to the cross for our salvation. Through His suffering, we receive the gift of grace and redemption. Let us embrace this love with solemn gratitude and quiet joy, knowing that His sacrifice brings us new life and hope.

Some HOAs in The Woodlands area are known for their bizarre rules. No pink flamingos in the front yard, no basketball hoops, and definitely no Christmas lights still up in January. Next time you receive a notice from your HOA, remember it's all in the name of preserving the delicate balance of the suburban universe, one quirky rule at a time.
