Homeowners LISTEN UP! What will the Texas property tax relief bill mean for you?

If the bill passes in November, here’s what it will do…

👉🏼 Homestead exemption is increased from $40,000 to $100,000. If you are over 65 or disabled, your exemption will be $110,000.
👉🏼School property taxes will decrease to 10 cents for every $100 in value. Schools will be funded by the budget surplus for the next two years.
👉🏼Annual appraisal value cap on non-homestead properties under $5 million will be 20%.

All reports are saying that this will be retroactive for 2023 so you should see the difference on your next tax bill. DM me with any questions!
