Over these past few years, I’ve been battling whether or not to delete my social media all together. I understand that social media is my brand but lately I’ve been speaking with God and listening to successful people who didn’t have a social media presence on the rise to their success which only made my decision clearer. Social media is a great platform but it can also be distracting and addictive. I understand that some of you might think that I’m making the wrong decision and I have to live with that consequence; I’m well aware. But I truly want to live a fulfilling, more productive lifestyle without any limitations or distractions to “post”. I want genuine interactions and deeper connections. I’ve crippled myself for years now without bringing out my full potential that I know I have because I chose to not believe in myself and follow behind someone else with the fear of missing out. I am 24 years old and I refuse to continue to live a life that I’m not happy or satisfied with. With the less pressure of social media: I’m hoping to improve my productivity, improve my mental health, increase face-to-face socialization, travel more, create fulfilling relationships, start different hobbies, travel more, improve my self esteem, improve my skills, improve my experiences and much more. To all my mentors and colleagues who’ve helped me thus far and have pushed me, thank you. I really appreciate you as a human being and that would always be near to my heart. I would like to be more present in life, create deeper friendships, connections, and networks.🤍 I have a lot that I want and need to accomplish in this life and social media is holding me back from that. Financial literacy and wealth is my life goal that I’m pushing to achieve. By doing research, I’ve come to realize that wealth is a mindset.

The mindset of the wealthy can be summarized as follows:

1. Long-Term Thinking: Wealthy people tend to think in the long-term and focus on building wealth over time. They are willing to delay gratification and make sacrifices in the short-term to achieve their long-term goals.

2. Positive Attitude: Wealthy people tend to have a positive attitude and outlook on life. They believe that they can achieve their goals and are not afraid to take risks.

3. Continuous Learning: Wealthy people are committed to continuous learning and self-improvement. They read books, attend seminars, and seek out mentors to help them expand their knowledge and skills.

4. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Many wealthy people have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to take risks to start and grow businesses.

5. Focus on Value: Wealthy people tend to focus on creating value for others. They understand that wealth is created by solving problems and meeting the needs and wants of others.

6. Financial Discipline: Wealthy people tend to be financially disciplined and have a clear understanding of their income, expenses, and investments. They live below their means, avoid excessive debt, and invest wisely.

7. Persistence: Wealthy people tend to be persistent and resilient. They understand that failure is a normal part of the process and are willing to learn from their mistakes and keep moving forward.
