A dear friend of mine reached out to me about a family friend needing to sell her mom's home. But she did not want to burden me with it because home is not in our area. But I feel her mom needs me. Seniors have my heart. And if I can do it, I will going to help.
So I want all my friends and clients to know that if you have a family or friend who needs a help with their home please reach out to me.
I can let you know if I can help or not or if someone in my network can help. I have vast network and resources.
And together we can help most people.
Especially seniors. Taking care of seniors at Acorn Manor Assisted Living Homes has given me a unique experience that I bring to Real Estate. May it be your mom or dad wanting to move to Florida or your aunt wanting to move to independent living locally or your neighbor down the street need to move to Assisted Living type set up or your grandma wants to stay in her home and just needs to get her home set up for aging in place or your recently retired friend needs some one to help them regularly with home maintenance tasks, we can help them all.
I know how to talk to seniors and help tjem understand why they need to take certain steps at this time in their life. I am also dementia certified and know how to communicate with someone with dementia.
Seniors are afraid to move. They feel vulnerable. They are attached to their home and all their stuff in their home.
I can help guide them what to do with their stuff and their home. And then take care of it all. From gettingvitems to family members, to Estate sale, to donation and recycling to getting the home repaired and updated to sold.
I provide the money, the contractors, the design, the project management.
I love doing it. I mean if you think about it - people are giving me blank canvas and then let me run free with my creativity. I get to play and they get to make money. Win win. 😁

Happy Veterans Day to all who served. You all will always be my hero.

If you know me you know I have special place for our military and Veterans in my heart. I feel I am a lucky one to be able to get here. The home of the Brave and Home of The Free. Where I can spread my wings and be who I am. Freedom that rewarded me the life I have.
I know freedom does not come free. There is lot of sacrifice that is made so all of us can live free.
So having Veterans at Acorn Manor Assisted Living Homes and being able to take care of them is extra special. People who risked their lives for me so today I can live the life I want.
They are smart, sassy and so loving. And I love that I can offer them the life of care freeness, smile and laughter.
How many of us can get to say I take care of my heroes.
Well I do and I am greatful for it. It is an honor to be accepted by them as their friend.

It is Veterans Day. People who served our country so you and I can live American dream. For me the biggest honor is when Veterans call Rescue And Real Estate - Woodlands Eco Realty to help them find their American Dream. We have Veterans program to make sure they get the benefits they earned and we offer our own benefits to add to that.
Everyone who gets to the point of owning a home gets there by making lots of effort and sacrifice. Especially our Veterans. Someone wrote this below and it is very true.

"The people you see buying homes on social media

They didn’t just wake up one day and say…

“You know what, I feel like buying a home today”

The process can take months, sometimes years to get where you need to be financially to purchase a home

It takes sacrifice…

Sometimes sacrificing going without certain things you’re used to, it takes overtime, long weekends working, having two jobs, no going out, no weekend getaways, spoiling yourself, getting your nails done, doing it on a single family income, no inheritance or gifts, not going out to eat and whatever else you gotta do to pay off debt and save up money etc etc etc

The point is… the next time you or someone else thinks “Must be nice” when you see those closing photos

Just remember they didn’t just wake up that morning and go buy that house

They worked their ass off to get there way before the keys were ever handed out

So if you’re in the “sacrifice” phase and feel like giving up, don’t stop now… you’ll get there I promise.
