We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Inspector/Cleaner to work within our Airbnb property management company. The ideal applicant will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks. We're looking for an individual who is an excellent communicator and will thrive working with people from many different cultures. This is a growing company and we are interested in hiring a Housekeeper that is dedicated to making our guests feel at home.
This role involves walking through and taking photos of properties, listing and assessing damage, documenting various elements of the property (condition, repairs, items, etc.). You will do or delegate minor maintenance and any property cleaning if needed.
Responsibilities:
Inspections
Visually inspect properties for damages and cleanliness
Communicate with vendors, the good, bad and ugly.
Use apps and software to document your findings
Supply restocking
Recording various items, such as Internet speed
Cleaning and Repairs
Minor cleaning as needed (or call back the cleaners)
Minor maintenance tasks, like replacing propane tanks, air filters, bulbs and batteries. No ladders, nothing that’s infeasible.
Open work orders and track their progress.
Explain what’s needed via email to me and/or the owners, if out of the ordinary.
Record billable hours
Inventory
Supply shopping
Key duplicating
Other
Making and updating house books and other on site notices
Emails and phone calls
Planning and tracking time
Other tasks as needed
Required:
Familiarity with google suite (gmail, sheets, pages)
Good driving record and insurance
Reliable car
Smart phone
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members, i.e., room attendants, housepersons, and inspectors to complete their individual tasks if situation demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc. Benefits
