Some closings are extra special because of the story behind the home — and because of the incredible teamwork it takes to get everyone across the finish line. ❤️
I’m so excited for my buyers as they begin this next chapter and make this beautiful home their own!
From the day we first toured it, there was just something about this one. They took their time exploring the neighborhood, walked down to the park, loved the school district, and could genuinely picture themselves making this their home. 🏡
And there’s a pretty special story on the other side of this transaction, too.
The seller purchased this home when he was just 22 years old. Years later, he brought his wife home to it, they started their family here, and together they created so many memories within these walls. Now, as their family has continued to grow, it’s time for them to say goodbye to a home that has been such an important part of their story and move on to their own next chapter.
What makes that story even sweeter is how closely it mirrors the beginning of the next one. ❤️
The new homeowners are entering a similar season of life, ready to make this home their own and begin creating memories here, too.
There’s something incredibly meaningful about a home being part of one family’s story for so many years and then being handed over to another as their own story continues to unfold.
It really is a beautiful passing of the keys. 🔑❤️

The sellers truly went above and beyond in preparing the home for its new owners. They had the home professionally cleaned, completed significant repairs and improvements before closing, and worked with several contractors who rearranged schedules and worked incredibly hard to get important items completed on a very tight timeline.
There was a tremendous amount of effort behind the scenes to have everything ready for the transition to the new homeowners, and that effort absolutely deserves to be recognized. 👏
A huge thank-you to listing agent Drew Hensel. Drew was absolutely wonderful to work with — communicative, responsive, solution-oriented, and always willing to help get answers or clarification whenever something came up. Transactions are so much better when the agents on both sides communicate, collaborate, and keep working toward the same goal, and I truly appreciated that partnership.
And I cannot say enough about Michael Farrell, Aaron Farrell, and processor Alyssa on the lending side. 👏 There were moving pieces right up to the finish line, including final appraisal requirements, and this team worked incredibly hard behind the scenes with underwriting to keep everything moving and make a remote closing possible while my buyers were out of state.
Geo Land Title was fantastic as well, coordinating the remote signing and working alongside everyone to accommodate my buyers’ schedule and keep everything moving toward the finish line.
As an Ohio real estate agent, I know real estate transactions rarely happen in a perfect little bubble.
Weather happens. Contractor schedules change. Appraisal requirements arise. Documentation has to come from outside parties. Sometimes the final stretch requires a whole lot of communication, flexibility, patience, and people willing to find solutions.
And that is exactly what happened here. ❤️
