🌟It's always a great day when you receive such a kind 5-star review from a buyer you recently helped!! 🌟
“Nicole went above and beyond to help us buy our home. She respectfully and clearly answered all the naïve questions a first-time home buyer could have and skillfully navigated us through the search, offer, negotiation, and closing processes at tricky time in the housing market. She went the extra mile in almost every way possible and was a pleasure to work with. In summary, she is extremely knowledgeable, organized, and competent. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in the Houston area.”

S-O-L-D ‼️‼️
These smiles and bright eyes on closing day are EVERYTHING! This beautiful family is taking on a new adventure here in TX after leaving CA. They have been so wonderful to work with. They were referred to me by a past client (that’s the best review I can receive 😊). After seeing a few homes with me in June, then looking remotely while they were in CA, they ended up finding their dream home the day before I left for Kauai over the summer. They trusted me to handle contract negotiations remotely and advise them each step of the way during the inspection period. I was so happy to finally meet their kiddos and see their excitement about their new home with a pool and a ton of community features. Wishing them all the best!!

Today, August 11, is 811 Day. It serves as reminder to call 811 before digging. Whether you are installing a mailbox, putting in a fence, planting shrubbery, building a patio or excavating a new garden area, being proactive prior to digging can help prevent incidents. The best way to avoid damaging your utilities and risking injury or loss of service is to contact 811 a few days before digging to learn the approximate location of buried lines in your area. Not surprisingly, in March, 2022, the Common Ground Alliance (CGA) conducted a survey and found that 49% of homeowners who planned to dig this year did not intend to contact 811 to have underground utility lines marked beforehand.
Utility services that we all depend on, such as cable TV, high-speed internet, landline telephone, electric, gas, water and sewer, are buried underground in many communities. Striking one of these lines can result in inconvenient outages for entire neighborhoods, harm to yourself or someone else, and repair costs.
When you contact 811, a local 811 center will collect your information and notify the affected local utility companies of your intent to dig. A professional locator will then visit the dig site to mark the approximate location of all underground utility lines with paint, flags or both. Once your site has been marked, it is safe to begin digging around the marked areas.
Make sure to contact 811 several days prior to digging to have your site properly marked, and remind your friends and family, to do the same.

FTC SAYS OPENDOOR WILL PAY $62 million as a penalty (to be distributed to sellers who were taken advantage of) to settle charges of making deceptive claims.

The Federal Trade Commission today took action against online home buying firm Opendoor Labs Inc., for cheating potential home sellers by tricking them into thinking that they could make more money
