If you were shopping for a home priced at $299,000, built in last 10 years, which would make you more likely to write an offer?

1️⃣ Negotiate a lower sales price
OR
2️⃣ Negotiate for the seller to contribute toward buying down your interest rate

First instinct only!

This is a marketing question, so I really want to know what grabs buyers more. If seeing a lower sales price is what would get you interested enough to make an offer, tell me.

Obviously, everyone wants the lowest monthly payment. What I’m trying to figure out is whether enough buyers understand interest-rate buydowns for that incentive to be more appealing than simply reducing the price.
