Toastmasters has really helped me to become a better public speaker and better leader. About yesterday 🏃🏾‍♀️ran the Houston half marathon! It was a journey getting to the START line, short runs, long runs, run club , injuries, running coach, chiropractor. Plus the self doubt leading up to race day…am I ready? Have I trained enough? What if… best thing I’ve learned from running is it’s about personal growth, try being better than you were yesterday, set a SMART goal for yourself and crush it, no excuses. Mine was to beat my 2020 time and I did by 10 minutes! Would have been more without the long port-a-potty line (lesson learned-keep going to you find one with no line 🤦🏾‍♀️). The FINISH line was worth it 🥰🥰🥰
