Coming soon to a fireplace near me!!!!

His name is Floyd and he’s a big boy! It’s been an adventure with Floyd. He was a bit of a rescue that turned into costing a small fortune to get him “fireplace ready”.
Sometimes my ideas are not the best laid plans but Floyd is here and he will take his majestic place soon That’ll be another adventure - I am sure! Stay tuned - he’s larger than he appears!

Everyone loves a good “Before and After”.
What a project and what a difference! This fireplace makeover changes the room completely. Now onto furniture, lighting, decor and a rug. This room will be a beautiful gathering space for our family!

I tend to agree with Maria’s opinion on the LVT topic. I’m not a huge fan of LVT but feel it does have some good applications.
I think in a few years people may be pulling it out and going back to more traditional choices.

It’s been said that I have a lamp issue. Can anyone agree with me that you simply cannot have too many?
I found this capiz shell lamp in a local antique store and it is swoon worthy!!!! The base is brass and super heavy. I can’t decide where it needs to go but lamps like this become “forever” pieces. Look for timeless accents!

What do y’all think of washable rugs? I’ve been using them for a few years. I have a few Ruggables and I need to purchase a new rug for my dining room remodel. Has anyone used Tumble? I’d love to hear your experience with either brand or any of the others. Go!

Y’all!!! I am lamp swooning!!! I found this capis shell lamp in an antique store. The bottom is solid brass and super heavy. I’m decorating my “new to me home” and going for a more curated and collected look. It has been so much fun!
