So we didn’t get the keys🔑 since there aren’t any, but we did get the dirt. 😉
This transaction took what seemed like forever to make sure we got it right, but Shirlene Ann Honcoop-Diegel and her team at Capital Title - Sugar Land helped us get across the finish line!
When choosing an agent, I can’t reiterate enough how important it is to use someone invested enough to know the contracts and legal parts of real estate… or be willing to check with the right people if they don’t. I have encountered enough agents in the last year and a half who sell themselves on being polished, their years of experience, or number of closings, yet make simple mistakes that cost their clients 💵 and headaches. The reason I chose to get into real estate was because after paying other agents when we closed 13 of our own purchases/sales and 4 leases, I wanted to save our family 💰 on any future real estate transactions while helping others build wealth through real estate. Have we had transactions that didn’t go through for one reason or another? Yes. Have we been burned on deals? Yes. But have we had great deals that helped build our net worth and baby step up to the next levels of housing? Absolutely! If you haven’t heard, real estate is the most stable wealth builder out there. You won’t see me pride myself on numbers of transactions/clients because I choose to keep my client list small so that I can give the attention needed to help them have successful and profitable transactions. Purchasing property is one of the largest transactions most people will ever make. The right agent can make it or break it. Choose wisely.
