📊 February Housing Market Snapshot
Magnolia:
Fewer new listings and homes are selling faster, but prices eased slightly. Buyers are active, but they’re paying close attention to value.
Montgomery:
Inventory jumped and prices climbed, with more higher-end homes hitting the market. Buyers have more choices, but well-priced homes are still moving.
Spring outlook:
Mortgage rates have settled around the 6% range, which is noticeably better than the 7%+ we saw not long ago. If rates stay near this level heading into the March–May spring buying season, we could see more buyers jump back into the market.
🏡 Question for local homeowners:
Do you think prices in Magnolia and Montgomery will rise, level out, or drop this year?
If you’re curious what your home might sell for in today’s market, I’m happy to run the numbers.
