President William Ruto wants to fill two vacant slots in his Cabinet.
Former Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, who shone during the COVID-19 pandemic, has emerged as a contender to replace Kithure Kindiki, who was elevated to deputy president from the interior ministry.
According to the publication, State House has sent emissaries to engage with the former Nyeri senator and other leaders from the Jubilee Party in hopes of striking a deal.
