Topic : Being Constrained by the Love of Christ

Paul writes in second Corinthians that “ For the love of Christ constraints us”
There are so many things that we could have done with our lives, but for Christ, we let them go. Abiding presence of Christ in our lives may inhibit us from earthly gains. When we allow the love of Christ to constrain us , it means the spirit of God is having total effects on our lives. It is also an indication of our growth in Christ. We move from the elementary stages of our Christian life and start climbing the upward lather in holiness. Our prayer changes from what we need from God to what God can do through us for humanity. We start putting away our selfish desires and motives. The fruits of the spirit which is love, patient and understanding become our aspirations. Our thoughts are then molded by Christ for witness.

Topic : It is Never Too Late to be Saved

In luke 23:42-43 we are told “ And he said unto Jesus , Lord remember me when thou comes into your kingdom. And Jesus said unto him , verily I say onto you , today shall thou be with me in Paradise”
Dysmas was a man condemned to die along with Jesus on the cross. His story is unique because it gives us hope . A hardened criminal whose life had been destroyed by his stealing profession. To the society , he was an unrepentant thief who needed no mercy, But in Jesus , he found salvation even at the point of death .
On that Friday afternoon, Jesus promised him of salvation. The totality of his messed up life was recycled and transformed into a model of grace. His most recent arrest which led to his condemnation brought him to meet Jesus for his salvation.
Dear reader, it is never too late to be saved , you can’t give up . Jesus is still making the promise that He gave to Dysmas that today you will be with him in paradise. The thief gravest mistake that led him to the cross directly helped him to meet Jesus.
At some point in your life when you feel that you want to give up is the inflection point in your life cycle when Jesus is waiting to save you . Have you wandered too far from God that you feel you can’t get back to him? God’s plan for your life begins where you are . Stay blessed

Topic : “ I received it in the name of Jesus , and yet I don’t receive any thing . Why?

Prosperity preachers expercialy some of my brothers from Charismatic denominations have preached the prosperity messages for years , and yet most Christians are poor as compared to unbelievers. The question is why?
There are two conditions one of which must exist and are necessary to receive the blessings of the load : 1. You must have a product , or 2. You must provide a service .
Jesus demonstrated these conditions succinctly . The first is in Matt 14:7 “ “ And they say unto him, we have here but five loaves and two fishes”. Jesus fed 5000 people on the mount because some one in the populace had a profuct( ( 5 loaves and 2 fishes ) . Jesus wanted to teach a lesson that you must have a product to be blessed. You can pray all day and all night , but without a product ( a work , job a business etc etc ) you aren’t going to be blessed. Christ could have cry out to the heavens for manna to fall , but he never did .
Second demonstration is the principle of service . Thus the parable of the sower . The farmer prepares the land and sow the seed before God brings the increase . It is only , and only then could God sends the rain for the seed to germinate. ( Mark 4:28).
African countries are 90 percent religious, and yet they are very poor . The reason is that we fail to assimilate hard working with our prayers . How do you spent 40 days and night in the mountains praying and leave your business to the mercy of the workers and expect your business to grow ? I really believe Christianity has become a laughing stock because some Christians rely so much on prayers instead of being industrious .

Topic : Sweet Heart U got to go.

There are things that we need to give up in order to lead a godly life . At times you may have to give up a side chick that you are really in love with . To be able to do this you need Self surrender . This is a very important and necessary ingredient to live a godly life.
A love of God will make the soul give up everything ,and cleave to God in order to reach the highest moral standards. God does not require us to give up anything that is beneficial to us.
Surrendering to the will of God is a struggle that everyone needs to have in order to have transformation and the renewal of your minds. The path of transgression is a path that may seem good and enjoyable but the end result is death . “The wages of sin is death “ says the psalmist.
Another step that we need to take and is necessary for “ our sweet heart” to go is controlling the power of choice. Every moral decision we make depends on the right use of this power. This is the governing power of the nature of Man. You cannot completely control your thoughts and your impulses, you may be a slave to insincerity, but you have the power to control your will to ensure that it is inline with God’s precepts and requirements.
Finally, by yielding to the will of God, your thoughts and actions will be modify and transform your mind which will result in a complete moral character formation. Stay blessed and share.
