For me, this is exactly why I got into real estate.

I’ve spent most of my adult life in sales and marketing, but nothing has been more rewarding than helping young families buy and sell homes that become the backdrop for a lifetime of memories.

A house is more than four walls. It’s where kids take their first steps, birthdays are celebrated, holidays are shared, and countless memories are made. Being trusted to help families through one of the biggest milestones of their lives is something I’ll never take for granted.

Buying a brand new home doesn’t always mean starting from the ground up.

My wife’s cousin and her husband were originally headed in a completely different direction with another builder. After we talked through their options, they ended up buying an inventory home in Lago Mar instead. And it ended up being the better fit for their timeline, budget, and goals.

On top of that, we negotiated:
💵 $25,000 in flex cash
🛝A FREE premium lot (about a $10,000 value)

The biggest lesson? The builder’s sales rep works for the builder. Having your own Realtor doesn’t cost you extra, but it can absolutely change the outcome.

Most people think buying a new home before selling their current one means one thing…

Too many buyers hear “you don’t qualify” and assume that’s the end of the conversation.

Every builder has different incentives. Every lender structures loans a little differently. And every deal has room for negotiation if you know where to look.

Forever grateful to for making me a dad and for giving me the two greatest gifts I’ve ever received, our boys.

We spent Father’s Day the way we do every year: at the Astros game, and they were kind enough to get a win for us too.

Being a father has challenged me, humbled me, and made me a better man in ways I never could have imagined. It’s the most rewarding role I’ve ever had, and one that continues to teach me something new every day.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there doing their best for their families. Enjoy every moment, it goes by fast!

Real estate isn’t always about finding the perfect house or just selling a property.

Sometimes it’s about negotiating the right terms.
