I was invited to visit the house of a buyer I did an inspection for back in October. I inspected this house, and the home had amazing potential, but was in need of some serious TLC. There were mold issues, issues with windows and doors, leaks at the toilets, etc...you get the drift. It's an older home and the buyers fell in love with it. Luckily, the sellers were willing to work with them to ensure the house was in shape to pass a VA inspection. That took a lot of work! I've stayed in contact with the buyers, consulted with them on numerous occassions and have called and checked on on them to get updates on the progress. It's been a process but the sellers, the listing agent, the buyers agents Sheila Novembre and her husband and business partner Tom did an amazing job advocating for their client and remaining patient during this transaction. I don't often get to see the end result of the buyers moving into their home, so it's really special when you connect with a client on this level and are invited over to see the renovations. Plus, their home is 4 minutes from where I live and at this point we are friends. We've already discussed plans to hang out in the near future. I'm so excited for this family! This visit today made my week!
