“Builder grade” is not a quality level. 👏🏼

It simply means the standard selections/specifications a particular builder includes in the home.

And spoiler alert… those standards can look VERY different from builder to builder.

Quartz can be builder grade.
Soft-close cabinets can be builder grade.
Quality flooring can be builder grade.
Energy-efficient windows and mechanicals can be builder grade.

The better question isn’t “Is it builder grade?”

It’s “What does this builder consider standard?”

Because when you’re comparing builders, don’t just compare the base price.

Compare what you’re actually getting for it. 🏡

A couple weeks into this chapter and I’m reminded of why I chose this industry in the first place.

It’s not the houses.

It’s watching people go from “I have no idea what I’m doing” or “I have x situation and I need help” -> “okay, I understand this now, let’s do it” and “thank you so much for your help, I didn’t think this would be possible”

Those moments never get old. I do what I do to help and serve others in one of the biggest moments of their lives. I’ll forever be grateful for that. 🤍
