1. Nowhere else has weather like this. You think you’ll find it somewhere else… you won’t.
2. The food hits different when you come back. I didn’t realize how spoiled I was until I left.
3. You can’t put a price on being 10 minutes from the ocean. I tried. I was wrong.
4. OC is expensive — but it’s because everywhere else just doesn’t offer anything close to OC.
5. People here actually go outside year-round. That’s rare.
6. Every city from Seal Beach to San Clemente has its own personality. I didn’t fully appreciate that until I moved away.
7. Traffic anywhere else somehow feels worse. There’s definitely traffic in other states.
At least here, you’re headed somewhere worth going.
8. Every time we’d visit, we didn’t want to leave.
9. My kids are growing up by the beach is a non-negotiable
10. The lifestyle doesn’t feel luxurious when you live in it —
until you leave and realize what you had.
11. Nobody who grew up here fully appreciates it until they’ve lived somewhere else.
12. Growing up where people vacations ruins almost everywhere else.
