This morning I watched a video that really hit me.

It was about Shohei Ohtani and why he’s so successful — and honestly, it gave me one of those “aha” moments.

I’m not trying to sound all technical here, but the video talked about something in psychology called the ABC method.

It goes like this: Activating Event → Belief → Consequence.

Basically, when something happens, it’s not the event that makes us feel a certain way — it’s what we believe about it.

Once I heard that, it just made so much sense.

In the video, Ohtani gets hit by a pitch.
Most players would be angry or ready to fight, but he just stayed calm and told his team to stand down.

The event was getting hit.
His belief was to stay focused.
The consequence was control and respect.
That right there is what separates him.

But it could’ve gone the other way.
If his belief was “that’s not fair” or “I’m not letting that go,” the consequence might’ve been anger, tension, maybe even a fight.

That’s what got me thinking — how much power there is between what happens and how we respond.

It’s not always easy, but if we can slow down and check that belief in the middle, we can change everything that follows.

It’s crazy — try this out for yourself.
Pick any situation and walk it through: Activating Event → Belief → Consequence.

The more I did this, the more I realized — it really is the belief that shapes everything.

If your listing photos look unprofessional — buyers notice.

If the description doesn’t match the photos — they notice that too.

They’re scrolling, comparing, judging… and if something feels off, they move on.

Your first showing isn’t when they walk through the door.
It’s when they find you online.

Make that moment count.

A day i didnt want to train, but did it anyway..

Some days, I don’t wanna train.
Actually… most days I don’t.

But showing up isn’t about hype anymore, or trying to prove something.

It’s about love.
Love for my family.
Love for myself.
Love for the future version of me who’s gonna thank me for doing it anyway.

Fear burns fast.
Love lasts longer.

Sounds cheesy, but I buy it.

How do you know if your home is truly priced right? 🤔

The market will tell you — if you know what to look for.

From early activity to what’s sold nearby, every detail matters.

Watch this quick video to see the signs your price might be helping you… or holding you back.

Woopdy doo, he read a book..

The title at this point just calms me down.

Its different. If you’re looking for something different, well here you go.

Here is a quote from it pertaining to freedom.

“Conducting oneself in such a way as to not be disliked by anyone is an extremely unfree way of living….And the cost of freedom in interpersonal relationships is that one is disliked by other people.”

The Courage to be disliked

Listen, maybe you’re not wrong — this market is hot. Homes are selling fast.

You could throw anything on the market right now and it might sell.

But here’s the thing — those first few weeks are everything. That’s when your listing gets the most attention, the most clicks, and the most motivated buyers.

If you don’t start strong, you risk setting off a domino effect that’s hard to stop.

You skip the cleaning, staging, or decluttering because, hey, it’s a seller’s market, right?

Then buyers walk in, and the space feels smaller because your stuff is everywhere.

It feels cluttered, personal, and maybe even a little unkept.

Now, they’re not just seeing your home — they’re forming assumptions. “If it looks like this, what else hasn’t been taken care of?”

Their perception shifts, and suddenly the home that’s priced right on paper feels overpriced in person.

Fast forward a few weeks — you’ve had open houses, showings, but no offers. Buyers start watching from the sidelines, waiting for a price drop.

And that momentum you could’ve had early on? It’s gone.

That’s why the start matters. A strong first impression can mean the difference between multiple offers… and a stale listing.

In real estate, the first two weeks aren’t just important — they’re everything.

It’s the question on every seller’s mind: What should I fix or redo to sell my house for more?

I recently visited a prospective seller who asked, “I know my kitchen and bathrooms are very dated. And those are the things I know contribute most to selling a house. Should I completely redo them?”

The truth is, you can’t get dollar-for-dollar return on major updates right before you list. A full remodel takes a lot of time and money, and by the time you’re done, you often don’t recoup the cost.

So, what should you do?

The answer is YES, you can still demand excellent market value for your home. But instead of focusing on a complete remodel, we’re going to aim for a home that is “very well kept.”

Knowing a house is genuinely well taken care of creates a positive, fuzzy feeling in the buyer’s mind. Buyers don’t want surprises.

Your focus shouldn’t be on updating; it should be on detailing. This means Deep Cleaning and Detailing, Decluttering and Organizing, Fresh Paint, and Fixing the Small Things.

Here are 10 lesser expensive ways you can do just that:
1. Deep, clean and sanitize everything
2. Declutter and depersonalize
3. Enhance curb appeal
4. Fresh neutral paint touchups
5. Upgrade hardware and fixtures
6. Maximize all lighting
7. Make minor repairs
8. Define every space
9. Boost online visuals with professional photos
10. Tidy and maximize storage areas.

Hope this helps!
