📊 Market Monday — and the national numbers are worth a look.

Pending home sales fell about 8% compared to last September, and sellers are cutting prices at a pace we have not seen in four years. Winter arrived early in the real estate market this year.

What it means here in the northwest suburbs:

SELLERS: fewer homes on the market = less competition for yours. But pricing it right on day one matters more than ever — the buyers still out there are serious, and they are negotiating.

BUYERS: you have more negotiating room than you have had in years. Inventory is climbing and price cuts are up — ask for the credits.
