2 of the reasons why baseball will always survive in spite of being the most boring sport to watch on TV, but very fun in person:

1. No matter the score or how late in the game… you have a chance to win.
2. The two teams in the World Series this year were the two worst teams in the game 2 years ago.

No other sport gives fans more hope year after year or even game after game. I damn near gave up on my Rangers when they lost in 2011. But this year has been a lot of fun! GO RANGERS!

Shout out to my dad who spent more money and time than he had to take me to see Nolan Ryan pitch twice!

The ratings this year will likely suck… but it matters to small markets. It matters for the sustainability of the sport. It also matters because Philly and Houston are at home crying in their beds. 😂
