Part of being a realtor is making lots of phone calls. These days it can actually be harder to get a hold of people because of a feature that phones have today.
On iPhones, there is an option called "Silence Unknown Callers" that sends any call that isn't a contact or someone you recently called straight to voicemail. While this is a good idea in theory, in practice it can make you miss an important call. You could have dropped your car off at an auto shop for service and they can't reach you to tell you it is ready. Maybe your doctor's office or pharmacy is trying to get a hold of you. Or your kid's school.
You may start getting some spam calls that actually ring, but you don't want to miss the really important calls.
To turn this setting off, open the Settings app -> Apps (at the bottom of iOS 18 and higher) -> Phone -> Silence Unknown Callers - > (tap the toggle to off).
