Lately, when I’m not helping clients buy and sell homes, I’ve been helping my daughter prepare for her LDS mission.

Our days have been filled with mission paperwork, shopping lists, bucket list adventures, and checking off all the little things we want to do together before she leaves. Right now, that even includes a small backyard patio makeover so we can host a fun send-off party with family and friends.

As I’ve been painting, planting, planning, and preparing, it’s had me thinking about what all of this is really for.

Family.

The late-night conversations. The celebrations. The milestones. The memories we create together.

And it all starts with having a place to call home.

A home isn’t just walls and a roof. It’s where children grow up, where friendships are built, where traditions begin, and where some of life’s most meaningful moments unfold.

Helping people find that place is one of the reasons I love what I do.

Because at the end of the day, real estate isn’t really about houses.

An unpopular opinion from Idaho Falls realtors. 🤫

We'd rather lose a deal than rush someone into a home that doesn't actually make sense for them.

Most people assume agents are always going to push buying because that's how we get paid. I get it, but that mindset is exactly why so many people end up making one of the biggest decisions of their life under pressure they didn't need to be under.

Our job isn't to convince you to do anything. It's to give you the full picture, walk you through the math, and help you figure out what makes sense based on the life you're actually living right now.

Sometimes that means writing an offer. Sometimes it means telling you to wait.

A peek into life as Idaho Falls Realtors

We have a High School Graduate! Plus, we had an open house for the Suites, supported our kiddos at their events, and served multiple sellers this month with one closing, one under contract, and one listed!
