This one is pretty cool!!

One of my buyers who originally came to one of my Sip. Paint. Own. events last year with the goal of eventually becoming a homeowner.

Fast forward to now — he got pre-approved, we started shopping, and after exploring their options, he and his wife realized the right move for them wasn’t buying an existing home at all…

They’re BUILDING their first home!! 🙌🏾🏡

They’ve officially decided to move forward with building, and now we get to watch an empty homesite turn into THEIR HOME!

And here’s why I wanted to share this story…

Help me congratulate another client who recently had her offer accepted on a property! 🙌🏾

🏡 Please help me congratulate my newest homeowners!! 🎉🎉

Yesterday these two officially closed on their very first home! 🥳

The best part? They were actually referred to me by one of their parents, who I helped purchase a home almost two years ago. Referrals like that mean the world to me. ❤️

Their journey wasn’t perfect. At first, they weren’t happy with what they were approved for, so instead of giving up, we explored another lending option. About a month later, they were approved for the amount they were hoping for… and that’s when the real fun began!

After looking at several homes, we found the one. Not only did they get an amazing home with an above ground pool, but we also negotiated for the sellers to leave the pool table and few other items! Even better, they walked into the home with instant equity from day one.

Their story is another reminder that where you start isn’t always where you’ll finish.

Sometimes it takes another lender.
Sometimes it takes improving your credit.
