I hate when underwriting seemingly waits until we are days from closing to bit pick at certain items. In a clients file. Even with understanding what and why they may want some additional clarification. Waiting so deep into the process just makes things extremely more stressful for the clients than it needs to be. Especially when the whole week prior there was time to review and ask for this information. Underwriting this year has been a huge hassle…. But all that said we gonna make it and get there!

Congratulations to my buyer on successfully closing on her newest property earlier this week!

This one was definitely an adventure. Along the way, I learned and experienced a few new things as we navigated our way to the closing table. As with many real estate transactions, there were a few bumps in the road, but thanks to great teamwork between all parties involved—including the lender, listing agent and most importantly a patient and determined buyer! We got the job done!

Not every closing is simple, but as the saying goes, “Smooth seas never made a skilled sailor.” This year has definitely provided opportunities to learn, grow, and earn a few more stripes along the way.

Most importantly, my client is happy, closed, and moving forward into her next chapter, and that’s what it’s all about. 🏡

A little late posting this one, but I was excited to end Friday evening with a CLEAR TO CLOSE! 🎉🏡

For those who do not know, Clear to Close means the lender has completed their review and final approval for closing.

One step closer to handing over the keys! 🔑
