The wait is over. Jewel-Osco is officially open in Saint John, Indiana! 🎉

Peterson is proud to announce the completion of this new 70,000 SF store, where our team transformed an existing retail space into a modern grocery destination. The new location features a full-service grocery selection, Starbucks, pharmacy services, and Drive Up & Go pickup.

Last week, we joined members of the local community to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting, marking an exciting milestone for the project.

We’re thankful to DeMao Retail and AGEN Development Group for the opportunity to bring this project to life, and to Camburas & Theodore Theodore Architecture and the Town of Saint John, including Town Manager Wayne Pondinas, for their collaboration throughout the project.

The buildings just keep on coming! 🏗️

Peterson is thrilled to announce that we’re moving dirt on Avon Logistics Building #6, a new industrial building underway for a repeat client. This 613,000 SF building will feature 62 dock doors, four drive-in doors, 40’ clear height, and 393 parking spaces.

We’re excited to continue our work on the Avon Logistics campus and bring another large-scale project to life!

We’re talking big with this one: 1.2 million square feet big.

Introducing Whiteland Building #2, a project we’re proud to be serving as the general contractor for developer Core5 Industrial Partners. Located in Whiteland, Indiana, the project sits just one mile from the I-65 and E 500 N interchange.

Designed for modern distribution and logistics, the facility will feature 119 dock doors, two drive-in doors, 40’ clear height, 789 car parking spaces, 243 trailer parking spaces, and an 11,000 SF speculative office.

We’ve already made great progress on this facility, with our crews currently erecting wall panels. Stay tuned for more as construction continues.

Another project going down in Peterson history! 👏

Peterson is proud to announce the completion of a new build-to-suit facility for Vikan North America in Westfield, Indiana. At approximately 80,000 SF, the facility features warehouse and office space, a 32-foot clear height, seven dock doors, one drive-in door, and 76 standard parking spaces.

Construction is moving forward at SOUTHWARK METAL MFG. CO.'s new facility in Hernando, Mississippi. Precast wall panels are now going up on the 270,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, marking another major milestone as the building takes shape.

We’re proud to continue growing across the Midwest and Southeast and serving repeat clients beyond Indiana.

More progress to come as this facility takes shape!

Our team recently completed a parking lot expansion at Kirby Risk's Indianapolis facility. The additional improvements help prepare the property for what's next.

The project included installing an underground detention system beneath the new parking lot expansion, excavating more than 123,000 square feet, and hauling away nearly 400 truckloads of soil. Additional improvements included 119 new parking spaces, a sidewalk connecting the building to nearby bus access, a customer pickup area providing access to the new counter location, and new landscaping throughout the property with trees, shrubs, and seeding.

Our team continues to make great progress at Whiteland Community High School! 🚧

Just in time for the start of the school year, summer site work was completed, and the new cafeteria and kitchen are ready to serve students and staff.

As Phase 2B continues, door frame installation is underway in P1, preparations are in progress for the new auditorium's interior foundations, and foundations for Unit B's loading dock are scheduled to begin soon.

Peterson is proud to share the completion of our latest project for a confidential client, transforming an existing warehouse into a modern workspace.

The scope included 465,000 SF of warehouse improvements and a custom office build-out featuring open workspaces, conference and training rooms, collaboration areas, a coffee shop, pantry, wellness rooms, and warehouse support spaces.

Key upgrades included:
🔹 Polished concrete floors, custom tile & quartz finishes
🔹 Acoustic treatments and upgraded loading docks
🔹 Major infrastructure improvements, including a large UPS system for critical IT
🔹 Custom building management system (BMS)
🔹 Dedicated battery charging area with epoxy flooring and exhaust ventilation

Outside, the project included a resurfaced and restriped parking lot, new concrete patio, landscaping, and decorative fencing.

A huge thank you to our team, trade partners, and everyone who helped bring this transformation to life. 👏
